The Problem

Print Alfa was quoting every order manually over email and WhatsApp, losing potential customers who wanted to order immediately. Their previous site was a static brochure with no product catalog, no pricing, and no way to pay online. Every sale required human intervention, which capped how much business they could handle.

My Role

2.5 months

  • Designed the full webshop UI/UX in Figma — product pages, cart, checkout flow
  • Built the Next.js storefront with server-side rendering for fast product page loads
  • Implemented MongoDB product management so the client can add/edit products without code
  • Integrated Stripe for secure payment processing with webhook-based order confirmation
  • Built an order tracking dashboard so customers can check print job status
  • Deployed to Vercel with AWS S3 for product image storage
Process
01

Audit & Map

Mapped the full existing order flow from first contact to delivery. Identified that 40% of inquiries dropped off waiting for a manual quote. Designed the solution around eliminating that friction point.

02

Design & Validate

Built a clickable Figma prototype of the checkout flow and tested it with 5 customers of the business. Discovered that product customization options needed to be visible before adding to cart — restructured product pages accordingly.

03

Develop & Integrate

Built the frontend and admin panel in parallel. Stripe integration required custom webhook handling for order status sync. Delivered a production-ready CMS so the client could own their product catalog from day one.

Visuals
Product pages show print specs, available formats, and pricing in a single view — no back-and-forth to get a quote.

The checkout is a single-page flow — shipping, payment, and confirmation without jumping between screens.

The Result

The client went from manually quoting every order to processing 30+ online orders per week within the first month, eliminating the quote-request bottleneck entirely.
